Forest Rangers forward Cephas Mulombwa expressed his team's determination to clinch the ABSA Cup title and bring it back to Ndola. Ahead of their final match against FC MUZA, Mulombwa stated that both he and the team were prepared to fight for the coveted championship. Having scored the winning goal in the semi-final against Power Dynamos, Mulombwa also harbored ambitions for several individual honors, including player of the match, top goalscorer, and player of the tournament. He called upon the Fole Malembe fans to rally behind the team and enjoy the game together, emphasizing their desire to claim victory at Dola Hill stadium. With preparations progressing well and high morale within the camp, Forest Rangers aimed to overcome FC MUZA, who had won both their previous encounters this season. The ABSA Cup is a prestigious competition with a substantial prize pool of 4.4 million, with the champions set to receive K700,000 and the runners-up K350,000. In addition to the monetary rewards, various accolades were up for grabs, including Coach of the Tournament, Player of the Tournament, and Man of the Match awards, each valued at K25,000. Two new categories, Top Goalscorer, and Golden Glove, were introduced, offering K25,000 to the winners of each. The final match between Forest Rangers and FC MUZA is scheduled to take place at Woodlands Stadium on Saturday at 15:00hrs.
