After a three-year hiatus, the Zambia Air Force Commander's Netball Tournament makes a triumphant return. Major General Oscar Nyoni, Deputy Zambia Air Force (ZAF) Commander and Chief of Air Staff, officially opened the 2023 tournament, which had been suspended due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Held at the Olympic Youth Development Center (OYDC) under the theme 'Promoting Inclusivity Through Sports,' this two-day event received praise from Major General Nyoni, who thanked President Hakainde Hichilema for supporting all sporting disciplines equally. The success of the tournament was attributed to the collaborative efforts of partners such as Manzi Valley, Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA), and the Midlands Netball Association. Brigadier General Kamima Nyirenda, Chief of Training, emphasized how the tournament fosters interactions and the exchange of values, benefiting economic growth, personal health, and wellness.
