Former Zambia and Nchanga Rangers forward Stone Nyirenda has stepped in to support the Brave Nchanga Rangers football club as they face a challenging end to the FAZ Super Division season with just three games remaining. In an address to Nchanga players in Chingola, Nyirenda expressed confidence that the team would perform well in their last three league matches and called on the players to demonstrate a high level of discipline and unity in order to succeed in their careers. Nyirenda, who played for Nchanga between 1985 and 1987 before embarking on a long professional career in Belgium, stressed the importance of positive results and urged the team to collect the points needed to avoid relegation. "This Club is very big and you should consider it a privilege to be here," he said. "My prayer is that as I head back to Belgium, the team will remain in the Super Division." During his visit, Nyirenda also exchanged notes with the club president on several issues concerning Nchanga's future, according to Nchanga Media Officer Andrew Ukwimi. The club's head coach, Aggrey Chiyangi, expressed gratitude for the support from Nyirenda and club icon Patrick Nkhata, who also visited the team. "We are extremely grateful for your visit and for your motivation of the boys," Chiyangi said. "Your care for the Club is evident, and we are convinced that we can remain in the Super Division with your support." As the team faces a critical juncture in the season, the backing of former players like Nyirenda and Nkhata could prove crucial to their success on the field. With the right attitude and discipline, Nchanga Rangers may yet avoid relegation and emerge stronger for the challenges they have faced. Picture- Nchanga Rangers
