With only six games remaining before the close of 2022/2023- season, Red Arrows chief executive officer Bruce Milunga says there is a need for players to hit the ground running for the title chase. Milunga said the champions will be making the mistake to give up the fight as there are 18 points to play for. Eighth-placed Arrows have 41 points, 11 behind leaders Power Dynamos. Arrows posted their last win on February 25 after clobbering relegation-threatened Chambishi 5-1. They lost 1-0 to Nkana, drew 2-all with Nchanga Rangers, and 1-1 with Forest Rangers. "We wanted to get the three points at Dola Hill Ground against Forest as the game could have propelled our desire to fight," Milunga said. "Nonetheless, the fight is not yet over. Giving up now would be a mistake from the champions. We shall therefore strive to finish in a good position." He is hopeful the team will come back strong as lessons have been picked. Milunga said the players were not happy dropping points in Ndola and are ready to fight for maximum points going forward. Arrows will be at home against Prison Leopards and Maestro United Zambia after which they will face Nkwazi away in a Lusaka derby. Their last three fixtures will see them host Lumwana Radiants, travel to Choma to face Green Eagles, and will conclude with a home match against Power. "We are picking lessons from each game and the draw [against Forest] still leaves us with lessons. It was evident from my boys that they were not happy with the result in Ndola and I know they will fight and take advantage of the two home games coming in a row," Milunga said. "The coaches also know what is expected of them and I am confident they will end well." RED ARROWS
