Why didn't the commissioner ask security to handle the person who allegedly hit fists on the judges' table? Yesterday was the long-awaited National Boxing Championships which was tagged 'Lopez Punch' with many spectators who were eager to see how the knuckles were landing on the faces of various opponents. After a series of hard-core fights, knockouts, and punches that seemingly were about to break the jaws of some fighters, the final game and main National Championship title which featured Simon Ngoma commonly known as 'Tyola Mbambo' (break the Rib) and Bernard Sepe was shockingly discontinued. Bernard was at a loss because his bleeding continued but he didn't relent and began to hit Tyola Mbambo having no means of escape in the corner as tension grew from both fighters' sides. Most Spectators went wild with some almost losing control and dominated over the security in uproar of their supporters but no fight was recorded in the main arena. After the 7th round of play, the commissioner of the National Championships stood up and gave an announcement that the match should be discontinued which left the media, and other stakeholders shocked to as what caused him to make such a selfish decision without proper cause. In an interview with Zed Sport, Exodus Boxing Academy Director expressed shock over the decision which was made.
