The Copperbelt Netball Association (CONA) Premier League saw an exciting series of matches during Weeks 4 and 5, held at the prestigious Arthur Davies Stadium Netball Court in Kitwe. Netball enthusiasts were treated to thrilling encounters between some of the best teams in the region. In the opening match of Week 4, Ndola Stars faced a tough challenge against Kitwe Rifles. The game showcased Kitwe Rifles' dominance as they outperformed Ndola Stars, securing a significant victory with a scoreline of 45-14. The second match of the day featured Community Queens taking on Kopala Queens. In an intense battle, Community Queens displayed remarkable teamwork and skill, ultimately triumphing with a score of 27-13 over Kopala Queens. The final match of Week 4 was a captivating showdown between Kansanshi Foundation and Chiwenzi. Kansanshi Foundation demonstrated their prowess and dominated the game, securing a convincing victory with an impressive scoreline of 41-8 against Chiwenzi. Week 5 of the CONA Premier League continued to deliver nail-biting action and suspense for the enthusiastic fans in attendance. The opening match of the week witnessed a thrilling encounter between Community Queens and Kitwe Rifles. In a closely fought contest, Community Queens managed to edge past Kitwe Rifles with a narrow scoreline of 24-23, showcasing the competitive spirit and determination of both teams. In the second match of the day, Ndola Stars faced a formidable opponent in Kansanshi Foundation. However, Kansanshi Foundation's skill and coordination proved too much for Ndola Stars, as they secured a dominant victory with a scoreline of 51-11. The final match of Week 5 featured Kopala Queens against Chiwenzi. Both teams displayed incredible grit and determination, but it was Chiwenzi who emerged victorious with a score of 29-22, adding to the excitement of the day's matches. As the matches concluded, Josephine Ngosa Kang'wane, the Head of Media and Marketing at CONA, officially confirmed the results, solidifying the success of the thrilling netball matches held during Weeks 4 and 5 at the Arthur Davies Stadium Netball Court in Kitwe.
