Napsa Stars head coach Perry Mutapa is confident of recording positive results against second-place side Green Buffaloes in the week 29 fixture to be played Saturday afternoon at heroes stadium. Speaking in a pre-match interview Friday morning ahead of the game coach Mutapa said that the game won’t be easy being a local derby but he is confident that playing at home will be an added advantage for his side as they look to bag maximum points from buffaloes' visits to heroes. “It's a local derby not easy, but it is our game being at home we need the maximum points.” Mutapa adds that the team always prepares to win each game as he emphasised that the Green Buffaloes game is no different from any other fixture. In the first-round fixture, Napsa Stars lost 2-0 away to Buffaloes and they will be looking for positive results at home. A win for Napsa Stars this weekend will see them jump into the top four of the log standing and possibly see Green Buffaloes lose their place in the top four depending on the results from other matches. Buffaloes have occupied a place in the top four since the beginning of the season something they would love to continue doing till the end of the season, making this weekend's encounter against Napsa Stars more interesting as both sides have enjoyed positive results in recent games. However, Perry Mutapa believes the pressure will be on Green Buffaloes as they will be looking to preserve their stay in the top 4 of the log standing. “Much pressure is on Buffaloes because they have been in the top four from the start. For us we just want to continue winning games and cement our stay in the league coming from lower division this was our first target to stay in the league then we build from there.” Meanwhile, Napsa will be going into this game missing some regulars from the starting lineup, but coach Mutapa believes that the players available will ensure positive results.
