Roan United coach Keagan Syabene has predicted a tough final in the Gal Sports Betting - Zambia (GSB) Cup, where they will meet fellow provincial Division One side Zambezi Portland. On Saturday 'Stylish' Roan ended their 27-year wait for a final berth when they beat Chingola Leopards 4-2 on penalties after playing to a 2-all draw in regulation time. Roan last played in a cup final in 1996 when they beat Nchanga Rangers 1-0 in the defunct Mosi Cup. Zambezi thumped Division Three outfit Nkumbu 3-1 at Nkana Stadium on Sunday. Syabene said in an interview that the first target of reaching the final has been met, and the players have to strive to lift the trophy on April 30 in kitwe. "It will not be easy, we are playing them [Zambezi] this week in the league, so it will be like a dress rehearsal for the final at the month-end. We know what we want out of this game and the boys have to give it their best," he said. His Zambezi counterpart, Peter Cheupe, said it will be a tough game. "Congratulations to the boys for reaching the final. We will play a tough game with Roan. We want to improve from the semi-final performance against Nkumbu, so we have to work hard," Cheupe said. In the women’s category, Nkana Queens beat Konkola Blades Queens 1-0 to book a place in the final while Super Stars Queens edged Chalube Angels 2-1. GSB ZAMBIA
