In a tense Week 33 match held at the Indeni Sports Complex in Ndola, Bauleni United Sports Academy (BUSA) Queens suffered a heartbreaking loss to Indeni Roses, leading to their relegation to the Women's National Division One. The game's only goal came in the dying moments of the match, with defender Rhodah Chileshe securing the win for Indeni. The loss means that BUSA will be joining Mufulira Wanderers, Play it Forward Queens, and Prison Leopards in the Women's National Division One. While the defeat was a tough blow for BUSA, they remain determined to learn from their mistakes and come back stronger in the next season. Reflecting on the match, BUSA coach Kaluba Kangwa stated that the loss was a bitter pill to swallow, especially given the implications of relegation. However, he remained optimistic and noted that the team would continue to fight as a cohesive unit in National Division One and aim for promotion. On the other hand, Indeni coach Wisdom Kaira praised his team for their hard-fought win and dedicated the victory to the fans. While their season has had its ups and downs, the win pushes Indeni up to seventh place with 51 points, providing a positive end to their campaign. The Women's Super League has been fiercely competitive this season, with leaders Red Arrows maintaining their position at the top of the table with an impressive 79 points. BUSA will host Arrows in their next match, while Indeni will travel to Lusaka to take on Green Eagles.
