In the world of netball, the Copperbelt Netball Association (CONA) Premier League has been a hotbed of excitement and competition. On a memorable Saturday, September 30th, 2023, Week 10 games marked the climax of the league, taking place at the Arthur Davies Stadium Netball Court in Kitwe. The fiercely contested matches yielded the following results for the final league games: the Community Queens dominated the Kitwe Rifles with a 24-20 scoreline in favor of the Queens. Another interesting match was the Kansanshi Foundation defeating Ndola Stars 38-12 in a much-anticipated game. Chiwenzi beat Kopala Queens 28-19 in a game that seemed to have closed the league in an exciting manner. These outcomes were officially confirmed by CONA's Head of Media and Marketing, Josephine Ngosa Kang'wane, adding an air of finality to the league. However, the most remarkable announcement of the day was that the CONA league had officially drawn to a close. The Kansanshi Foundation, with an astounding 100% winning record, emerged as the champions. Their consistent dominance throughout the season was nothing short of impressive, underlining their dedication and skill in the world of netball.
