A tragic incident occurred on Monday afternoon at Lukata Farms in Mazabuka district, resulting in the drowning of a 25-year-old footballer from Paprika Hotspurs, a team in the FAZ Division Two Southern Province Zone B. According to reports, Luckson Malambo, who played as a defender for Paprika Hotspurs, and his friends went fishing at a dam when the incident occurred. Paprika Hotspurs Vice Secretary, Nancy Mudenda Siatwiko, confirmed the incident to Byta FM and expressed her deep sorrow, describing it as a big blow to the club. The community members have been tirelessly searching for the remains, but the search efforts have been in vain due to the lack of appropriate equipment.
