Netball Zambia President, who also serves as the African Netball Treasurer, Martha Lungu Sichone, has encouraged the creation of hub sites across the country, emphasizing that they have significantly contributed to the growth of netball in Zambia. "Some players playing in the National Team come from these community hub sites, therefore enhancing this is beneficial for the girls and an achievement for the federation." "We want hub sites across the country because this is our grassroots, so if we enhance that across the country, then we know that netball will not be the same in the next five years," she added. She also commended Sport in Action for their contribution to the creation of hub sites across the country and the growth of the initiative, as the hub sites have increased from 0 to 48 since 2019.
