The much-anticipated exhibition match between Barcelona Legends and Zambia 2012 Legends will not feature the iconic 2012 AFCON winning jersey or the KoPa brand. The organizers, Kings of Africa, have announced that a new jersey specifically designed for the match will be unveiled instead. Tichaona Mawoni, the Director of Projects at Kings of Africa, revealed on the breakfast show of Millennium Radio that a different jersey, unrelated to any Zambian team, will be used for the match. This announcement has caused some confusion among fans regarding which jersey will be worn and the implications of this decision. The match is scheduled to take place on May 25, 2023, at the National Heroes Stadium. Kick-off is set for 15:00 hrs, with gates opening at 10:00 hrs. Tickets for the match are now available for purchase at all ShopRite stores nationwide through Computicketing. In a positive gesture, the government has decided to give away 5,000 tickets to differently-abled individuals and students for the FC Barcelona Legends vs. Chipolopolo Legends exhibition. This generous initiative was confirmed by the Minister of Sports, Elvis Nkandu.
