Napsa Stars suffered a tough loss to Nkana in week 32 of the league season. The game ended in a 1-0 scoreline with Nkana taking the lead in the 85th-minute courtesy of a goal from Diamond Chikwekwe. Napsa Stars went into the game sitting in second position on the league table and were hoping to cement their place in the top two to secure continental football for next season. However, they knew that beating Nkana at home was not going to be an easy task, especially given that the home team was coming from two consecutive defeats and was determined to make things right. Despite dominating the majority of the game and creating several scoring chances, Napsa Stars were unable to find the back of the net. Head coach Perry Mutapa acknowledged his team's efforts, stating that they played well but just couldn't get the result they wanted. "We managed to keep the home crowd silent as we were playing beautiful football, but they scored towards the end of the match and we couldn't manage to get a goal back. It was a tough game, but we move forward." The loss saw Napsa Stars drop to fourth on the league table with 49 points, level on points with Zesco United and one point behind FC Muza, who currently sit in second place. Despite the setback, Napsa Stars will be looking to bounce back in their next game and keep their hopes of securing continental football alive. With two games left in the season, there is still everything to play for, and the team will be hoping to finish the season on a high note. Picture-Napsa stars
