The Chipolopolo B team suffered their second defeat in eight days, losing 3-1 to Morocco under 23 on Monday night. This came after a previous 3-0 loss against Kuwait the previous Monday in Egypt. The Football Association of Zambia had arranged two friendly matches for the team, which will participate in the upcoming COSAFA tournament in Durban, South Africa next month. The team traveled to North Africa for the friendlies, with the first match against Kuwait and the second against Morocco in Rabat. Following their tour, the team is expected to return home and continue fine-tuning before departing for South Africa. Coach Numba Mumamba and his technical bench will have the opportunity to strengthen the team with new additions before finalizing the squad for the COSAFA title defense. The COSAFA-bound team comprises locally-based soccer players.
