Mapepa's impressive goal tally of 28 helped Elite Ladies secure a commendable fourth-place finish, trailing behind ZESCO Ndola Girls, Red Arrows, and defending champions Green Buffaloes. Another standout performer at the ceremony was goalkeeper Chitete Munsaka, who showcased her exceptional abilities between the posts. Munsaka not only claimed the title of Best Goalkeeper but also garnered recognition as the Young Player and Players' Player of the Year 2023, as voted by her teammates.
