With deep sadness, we regret to announce the untimely passing of Malikana Mubiana-Sike, the Vice President - Events and Projects at Netball Zambia. She departed from this world in the early hours of Saturday, 2nd September 2023, at Maina Soko Military Hospital, following a stroke. The confirmation of this heartbreaking news has been provided by Pritchard Ngoma, the Secretary General of Netball Zambia. As the news of her passing ripples through our community, our thoughts and condolences are with her family and loved ones during this difficult time. For those wishing to pay their respects and offer their condolences, a funeral gathering is being held in Woodlands, located along Burma Road, opposite the Puma Filling Station. In honor of Malikana Mubiana-Sike's memory and her significant contributions to netball in Zambia, teams have been directed to observe a minute of silence during the Week 14 games. Malikana Mubiana-Sike was in her second term of office, and her dedication and passion for the sport left an indelible mark on the netball community.
