The Zambia national soccer team, defending champions of the HOLLYWOODBET COSAFA tournament, is intensifying its preparations for the upcoming edition. Ahead of the tournament scheduled in Durban, South Africa next month, the team has secured additional friendly matches to ensure they are ready to compete at the highest level. Following their game against Kuwait in Egypt on June 12, the team will travel to Morocco for another friendly match. The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has communicated this arrangement, emphasizing the importance of adequate preparation. FAZ Secretary General Reuben Kamanga expressed his desire for the team to have sufficient practice and be well-prepared to defend their title successfully. With the team commencing training in Lusaka and being drawn into a group with Malawi, Comoros, and Seychelles, Zambia aims to showcase its skills and reclaim the championship.
