The Zambia Women's National Team is gearing up for the Paris 2024 Olympic Football Tournament qualifiers. Having already made one Olympic appearance, the team has been exempted from the first round of qualifiers, along with six other nations. They will enter the competition in the second round, where they will face the winners of a two-legged tie between Burkina Faso and Mali. Led by coach Bruce Mwape, the Copper Queens are determined to secure their second Olympic berth and showcase their talent on the international stage. If they successfully navigate the second round, a challenging encounter awaits them in the third round. They will face the overall winners of the matches between Guinea Bissau and Benin, as well as Guinea and Ghana. The qualification process for the Women's Olympic Football Tournament consists of four rounds of matches. The winners of the last two qualifying matches will secure their spot in the summer Olympic games in Paris. The first round matches are scheduled to take place from 10th to 18th July, offering an initial opportunity for teams to showcase their skills. The second-round matches are set for 23rd to 31st October 2023, providing the Copper Queens with their first hurdle in the qualifiers. Should they progress, the third-round matches will be held between the 19th and 28th February 2024. Finally, the fourth round matches are scheduled to take place from 1st to 9th April 2024.
