NOWSPAR has welcomed the 2023-2024 YSEP participants. The participants went through a week-long orientation to learn about their placements for the next ten months. Youth Support Exchange Program (YSEP) is an exchange program for the Norwegian and African youth funded by Norec through the Norwegian Olympic and Paralympics Committee and Confederation of Sport (NIF). It aims to build capacity within partnering sports organizations in Norway, Malawi, Zambia, and Zimbabwe through the exchange of young, skilled sports instructors, administrators, and coaches, and outreach to grassroots communities. The program uses sport as a medium of development and social transformation, increased networking, and cooperation between partners, and contributes to the development of a more equal relationship/partnership between sports organizations and participants from the four countries.
