Kira Habazoka, Zambia's young swimmer, is a source of inspiration to aspiring swimmers. She broke three national records and won seven gold medals at the National Age Group Swimming Championship last year at OYDC. The swimming championship had 177 swimmers from various swimming clubs across the country who gathered to compete in the National Age Group Championships for the end of the 2021/2022 swimming season. The championships were also being used as a qualifier for the upcoming CANA Zone 4 swimming Championships, which will be held in Zambia from 14th to 18th April 2022. Approximately 40 Zambian swimmers were selected to represent the country, which hosted over 14 other countries and some of Africa's best swimmers at the competition. Kira also participated in the Cana Zone 4 games and won several medals for the country. She hopes to become the best swimmer.
