Zambia Swimming Union has announced the swimmers who will be representing Zambia at the World Aquatics Junior Swimming Championships 2023. The Championships will be held from 4th to 9th September 2023 in Netanya, Israel and will have over 600 promising young swimmers from more than 100 National Federations. The team includes Marlise Findlay, who was among the four swimmers who won bronze for Zambia in the 4x100m freestyle relay at the AUSC Region 5 games last year, Cole Mulenga, who won 14 medals across all the events he took part in at the CANA Zone IV African Swimming Championship. Out of these medals, nine (9) were gold, four (4) were silver, and one was bronze, making him the overall best male swimmer in the category of under 12 and below. He has also won the most medals at the championship across all age groups, surpassing all other competitors out of the 300 swimmers who participated in the competition from fourteen other African countries. Other members of the team include the phenomenal Zach Moyo, Antonia Liakopolous, and Frank Mulenga. The team will be led by coach Ian Stephenson.
