The event took place at Kuku grounds, where parents also gathered to show their unwavering support for their children. In an interview with Zed Sport, Mary Banda, a parent of a child with a disability, expressed her joy in the local language "Nyanja," conveying her deep appreciation for the support extended to special athletes in Chawama. "Ndine Okondwa maningi pali support yebapasa baana," she joyfully exclaimed, which translates to "I am extremely grateful for the support that the children are receiving."
