On Saturday, July 8th, 2023, Arnold from Mongu WFF in Western Province, Zambia, won the First Ever Combo National Championship 2023, which served as the Tokyo Qualifiers at Taj Pamozi Hotel over the weekend. Arnold has qualified for the Tokyo Championships for the first time and will be representing Zambia in the senior men's category of bodybuilding. World Fitness Federation Zambia President, Mr. Peter Chanda, congratulated Arnold and the other athletes participating in the National championships, which saw invitations sent to all the provinces. José from Zimbabwe also participated in the championships and showcased his talent during the Tokyo Qualifier championships. "Thank you for your wonderful guest posing from WFF Zimbabwe. World Fitness Federation Zambia (WFF Zambia) appreciates your support," WFF Zambia said. To ensure inclusivity, the qualifiers featured physically challenged athletes who are qualified to represent Zambia in the Bodybuilding Physically Challenged Lineup in Tokyo, Japan. This includes Phanuel Musumali and Kennedy Tembo, who displayed impressive physiques during the championship. Mr. Mike Chivumo has been at the center of encouraging brothers and sisters who are physically challenged to get involved in the sport of bodybuilding and fitness.
