Fred Phiri has successfully defended his Mr. Mtendere Championship title, triumphing over 14 other competitors and securing a prize of K10,000. Expressing his delight at winning his second title, Phiri also expressed his commitment to working even harder, aiming for the prestigious Mr. Zambia title. Runner-up Allan Mulenga received K4,000 and vowed to return stronger next year. Francewel Phiri claimed third place with K3,500 in winnings. In addition, Eddie Kalipenta celebrated a historic victory in the physique category, earning K3,500. Robert Mushekwa and Neck Mwewa secured second and third positions, respectively, each receiving K2,500 and K1,500. The President of the Zambia Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation, Jackson Nkhoma, urged more gyms to introduce tournaments, while the Chairman of Mtendere Gymnasium, Phamphrey Ngoma, expressed his joy at the turnout.
