During the Mr. Zambia event, Youth and Sport Permanent Secretary Kangwa Chileshe expressed the government's commitment to investing in bodybuilding, recognizing the financial strain on athletes to keep themselves in shape. Chileshe urged the Zambia Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation (ZBBFF) to collaborate with sister federations for the promotion of similar sports. ZBBFF President Jackson Nkhoma called on the government to protect the sport from misconceptions and misconstrued notions about bodybuilders.
