Arnold Lubosi Bwalya, the current national champion, is set to embark on a journey to Germany for the upcoming intercontinental championship competitions hosted by the World Fitness Federation. Previously, Arnold was scheduled to represent his country on the global stage in Tokyo, Japan, on September 13, 2023 but was unable to participate due to a lack of sponsorship. However, he bounced back from this setback by securing victory in the men's extreme bodybuilding competition in South Africa, fueling his determination to compete on the intercontinental stage. The intercontinental championship in Germany is planned for November 5, 2023. Arnold has stated that qualification for this event is a significant milestone, as it provides him with an opportunity to transition from an amateur athlete to a professional. In professional circles, athletes benefit from consistent sponsorships and support in every competition, unlike the amateur category where participation is often driven by a love for the sport with no financial rewards.
