Munali's strongman, Chrispin Chiinda, widely known as Chris Mall, united with numerous Mtendere residents on Saturday night to witness the crowning of the Mr. Mtendere bodybuilding champion, which featured 27 participants. The event organizers successfully secured a budget of £59,000 for this event. BETIKA, as the primary sponsor of the Mr. Mtendere Bodybuilding Championship, contributed £30,000. Caristo Banda, the country director of Betika, expressed pride in supporting such impactful initiatives that benefit the youth in peri-urban areas like Mtendere. Betika is committed to fostering the growth of sports in the country. Additional sponsors for this event included Big Tree, Mika Hotel Kabulonga, Matcha General Contractors and Suppliers, Ideal Go, Nyawa Media, Supplement World, Chrispin Chiinda, and True Virtue Media. On 11th November, Chris Mall will join other sponsors in hosting the Munali bodybuilding competition at Munali Secondary School.
