Yesterday, Red Arrows Rugby Club was buzzing with excitement as it marked the official launch of the women's 7s national team. This Jersey launch event served as the pinnacle of the women's 7s national team's preparations for the upcoming Olympic Qualifying Tournament this weekend. Ms. Michelle Kilpin, the Country Managing Director of Zambia Breweries, was the guest of honour. In her brief address, she highlighted the tournament's significance as an excellent opportunity to showcase Zambia's talent. Notable sponsors, including Mr. Greg Snalam from Freddy Hirsch Zambia and Mr. Boniface Kambikambi, the General Secretary of the National Olympic Committee of Zambia (N.O.C.Z.), lent their support to the occasion. Cecilia Tresha, the General Secretary of ZRU, took the opportunity to express gratitude to the sponsors who had provided both material and financial support during the girls' training camp, with special mention of Zambian Breweries, Freddy Hirsch Zambia, Country Choice Chicken, Aquavita Mineral Water, and numerous other generous sponsors.
