The Zambia Men's Rugby team missed qualification for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games as they finished fifth during the Africa Rugby 7s Olympic qualifiers held at the Harare Sports Club in Zimbabwe from 16th to 17th, 2023. After two days of competition, the final rankings are as follows: Kenya emerged as the overall winner of the tournament and was ranked first, followed by South Africa in second position. Uganda finished third, and Zimbabwe came in fourth position. Zambia was ranked 5th at the tournament, followed by Burkina Faso, Madagascar, Nigeria, and Tunisia among other teams. Ivory Coast was ranked 12th and last. Kenya secured their spot for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, while South Africa and Uganda have qualified for the Olympic repechage tournament, which includes countries from different continents.
