Yesterday, the Athletes' Commission of the National Olympic Committee of Zambia (NOCZ) hosted a workshop for athletes representing various national sports federations, including para-athletes. The workshop centered around the theme "Mind, Body, and Soul: The Athlete as a Whole" and featured sessions covering essential aspects of sports, including fundamental skills, physical conditioning, nutrition, mental well-being, and personal branding. The athletes' active participation and dedication were remarkable, with many sharing testimonials about how this workshop offered a unique and much-needed platform for interaction, all thanks to the efforts of the Athletes' Commission. In attendance were NOCZ Treasurer, Victor Banda, and Rodrick Ndhlovu, a Board Member, and the Chef de Mission for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Banda urged the athletes to persevere in their pursuit of qualification for the upcoming Paris 2024 Olympic Games through the available opportunities.
