Lt. Gen. Maliti Solochi, the ZNS Commander, introduced the new kit for both the Green Eagles Men's and Women's Rugby Club and expressed his confidence in their future performance. He advised the players and the technical team to recognize that they embody resilience, teamwork, and discipline. He reminded them that they carry the pride not only of the club but also of the entire nation. In recognition of their impressive performance at the Heroes 7s, the ZNS Command has granted promotions to several rugby players and a female physio. Thadius Chipoya has been promoted to the rank of Staff Sergeant, along with team physio Carol Mpululuka and winger Joshua Silondwa, who were previously Sergeants. Additionally, Jack Mwale, a centre, has been promoted to the rank of Sergeant.
