September is set for the Zambia Table Tennis team to participate in the Africa Senior Championships, which will be hosted in Tunisia in a few weeks. The president of the Zambia Table Tennis Association (ZTTA), Wisdom Kaunda, has stated that more friendly matches will be scheduled prior to the qualifications in order to adequately prepare the team for the main games. "We need support for the budget, which will require around a 9-member team to travel to Tunisia for the Senior African Championship games, where we expect the best from our team," Mr. Kaunda said. Mr. Wisdom further added that the team will achieve good results at the championship due to the intensity of their training methods. The Tunisia Championships will be attended by more than five countries from the 11th to the 17th of September 2023, with various countries striving to win trophies in different categories.
