The Zambia Pool Union Ladies Team has suffered yet another defeat at the ongoing AAPA Blackball Championship in South Africa. Coach Bongani Mano asked the ladies to pull up their socks after losing 15-10 to Botswana, recording their third loss in the Championship. They have only won one game after narrowly beating Eswatini 13-12 and losing 13-12 and 17-8 to Zimbabwe and South Africa respectively. Prior to the tournament, the union shared that the ladies were aiming to beat their World Cup position where they came out third. Meanwhile, the men have extended their winning streak and remain unbeaten after beating Namibia 17-8 and Zimbabwe 14-11.
