Pool clubs in Solwezi are urging the government to extend its support towards identifying and nurturing pool talents among the youth. Following a recent pool tournament in Solwezi, Eliot Mudenda, the Provincial Pool Coordinator for Northwestern Province, highlighted the positive impact of the sport in steering young individuals away from negative influences. He emphasized that with government and stakeholder backing, the sport could flourish in the province, enabling local teams to compete on national and international stages. Additionally, Andrew Kayebeta, the Chairman of California Pub Pool Club, emphasized the need for increased investment in sports infrastructure within the province.
