Tomorrow at 12:00hrs at Billards Café in Lusaka, we will see the Zambia Pool Union dishing out the Zambia National team provisional squad ahead of the national championships. The Provinces that participated in the trials included Southern, represented by Mazabuka, Eastern Province, Central, and the Copperbelt. The selected players will be fighting for their lives as they aim to grip a place in the final 12 that will be participating in the Africa Cup in South Africa by October this year. Meanwhile, the players on the provisional squad will have a chance to participate in the incoming July-August National Championships, the biggest tournament for all local players. ZPU has shared a notice via its official Facebook page ahead of tomorrow's press briefing at Billards Café in Lusaka: "This serves to inform the pool fraternity and the general public at large that the Zambia Pool Union will host a media briefing on Sunday 4th June 2023 to announce the selected provisional national teams"
