Zambia National men's pool captain Victor Sinyinza has said that participating in the Heyball Masters Grand Finals tournament was an eye-opener and extremely beneficial. Sinyinza who captained the national team that emerged as the world’s number two at the Blackball World Championship held in Tangier, Morocco last year, was unfortunately knocked out in the trial stage in Qinhuangdao. Sinyinza said although he was knocked out in the early stages of the tournament, he gained a lot of exposure having played in the event for the first time. "The experience was massive, I learned a lot during the Heyball games. The tables are different, the balls are bigger and the rules are different which made it difficult to adapt and immediately make an impact," said Sinyinza. Sinyinza has however appealed to the government and the association to take advantage of the promotion on the purchase of Chinese Heyball tables for the use of Zambians who have already shown that they are good at Cue sport. Zambia holds the title of African champion while they are second and third in the men's and women’s categories on the world stage. Heyball Grand Final
