Fifteen-year-old Prosper Banda, a talented handball player from Bluewood Academy, has revealed his ambitions to pursue a career in the military after completing his studies. Banda, whose academy is actively participating in the Teulings Youth Sports Challenge, expressed his excitement about the games, stating, "These matches are fascinating, and I dream of one day representing the national handball team to help our country achieve success and win medals." Despite his young age, Banda has already taken part in more than 20 competitions, contributing significantly to his team's triumphs in local contests, where they secured numerous trophies. Recently, on August 5, 2023, Banda and his friends had a great time watching the Teulings games, witnessing over 100 players from various teams compete. He finds such events motivating, believing that they encourage positive behavior and deter individuals from engaging in negative activities within their communities. In his efforts to inspire others, Banda encourages fellow community members to consider joining sports programs at the Olympic Youth Development Centre (OYDC), which can help shape them into more responsible individuals in society. On another note, hockey was also played on the same Saturday, attracting several teams from the communities surrounding the OYDC Zambia.
