The Zambia Rugby Union has taken indefinite disciplinary action by suspending Sheleni Michello, the Assistant Coach and 7s team manager of Lusaka Rugby Club "PowerHouse," due to insubordination. This decision is based on Michello's unauthorized sending of the Olympic Qualifiers 7s team list to Rugby Afrique without prior approval or consultation from the Union. Traditionally, the Team Manager has been the designated contact for matters such as team lists, working in collaboration with the Director of Rugby or Head Coach. Michello has the option to appeal this suspension.
