Clement Muwele, the rugby coach and Teulings rugby coordinator, has praised athletes for consistently showcasing impressive skills on the field. Muwele revealed that both boys and girls possess remarkable talent, urging spectators at OYDC Zambia to observe their prowess. He highlighted how the Teulings League contributes to nurturing grassroots-level athletes within various sports associations. Muwele shared that Team OYDC has secured 35 points from several games, while other teams such as MT Sharks, Kabulonga Blacks, Zanimoune, Chazanaga, and Matero have accumulated 25, 20, 17, 14, and 14 points, respectively. He expressed satisfaction with the smooth progress of the games and commended the substantial turnout from the participating teams. Notably, Muwele emphasized that the athletes' display of proficient rugby skills has been consistently remarkable since the introduction of the league. He highlighted the positive impact of the Teulings Youth Sports Challenge, which is supported by Coen Teulings, the Chairman of Merifin Capital in Belgium. Young handball athletes recently gathered at OYDC Zambia to partake in the challenge, further showcasing the breadth of talent fostered by such initiatives. In a testament to the effectiveness of the Teulings league and the dedication of both athletes and coaches, the ongoing showcase of remarkable skills not only reflects the growth of rugby but also underscores the potential of young talents to shine on the sporting stage.
