Two days ago at Billiards Cafe in Lusaka, the National Ladies Pool Final Selection Series was conducted to pick the most deserving players to represent the country at the upcoming SA Africa Cup. In an interview with Zed this morning, Zambia Pool Union (ZPU) Secretary General, Testa Nshinkombwe, said that ZPU is eager to announce the final squad to represent Zambia in South Africa. "We are going to have a press briefing tomorrow to announce the final squad for the women's team, either at Billiards Café or any other place to be confirmed this afternoon," he said. Last year, the women's national team emerged third at the Black Ball World Championship held in Tangier, Morocco. Next month, they will be defending the Africa Cup Championship. The provinces being represented include Eastern Province, Western Province, and Lusaka, among others.
