This annual tournament has cemented its place as a cornerstone of the local rugby calendar, serving as a vibrant showcase of the nation's remarkable talent in the world of 7s rugby. Yet, this year's tournament carries a unique twist as several notable teams, including Diggers, Roan, KPF, Killer Bees, and Red Arrows, are noticeably absent from the lineup. My Bucks, Farmers Nest, and micro-finance institutions, Bayport, Fair Choice Finance Limited, and Good Fellow, are the co-sponsors of the tournament, with a total prize money of K32,000.
