Munali Suns Basketball Club has hired an expatriate coach and two players based abroad in preparation for the Basketball Africa League, in which they will participate from 21st to 27th October 2023 in Zimbabwe. The expatriate coach, who has already started training with the team, states that he is impressed with the team's receptiveness to new techniques. The reigning national champions are eager to win the competition. The two foreign players, who were recruited from the United States of America, express their dedication to making a positive impact on the team and look forward to sharing their knowledge with the local players. The participating countries in the 2023 Basketball Africa League include Zambia, Botswana, Malawi, Zimbabwe, and Namibia.
