Vice-President Ismail Matadar of Matadar Cricket Club has extended his commendations to the Midlands Cricket Association (MCA) for their unwavering commitment to youth development. Currently, the Indian cricket team finds itself in the country to participate in a quadrangular tournament featuring select teams from Zambia and Zimbabwe. The three-day tournament promises exhilarating cricket action and is scheduled to be hosted at the Metropolitan Ground in Lusaka, commencing today and concluding on Sunday. During a visit to the OlympAfrica Centre yesterday, Matadar expressed his admiration for the commendable programs administered at the centre. The OlympAfrica Centre plays a pivotal role in nurturing young talents across various sports disciplines, including cricket, and does so without charging any fees for its training programmes. Surrounded by several townships, including Mandevu, Chaisa, Matero, Chipata, Marapodi, Chazanga, Kabanana, Garden, and Emmasdale, the OlympAfrica Centre continues to be a beacon of hope for youth development and sports excellence.
