The Midlands Cricket Association has officially opened a three-day cricket tournament at Metropolitan Sports Club. This event will see selected teams from the Midlands region facing off against teams from India, Matadar Cricket Club, and Alexandra Cricket Club from Zimbabwe. During the opening ceremony, Boniface Kambikambi, the Secretary General of NOCZ, praised the Association for organizing the tournament, highlighting their commitment to the growth of cricket in the country. He expressed his joy in seeing participants, whose passion and skills were nurtured at Olympafrica Centre, competing in such a significant tournament. The tournament commenced on 6th October 2023 and will conclude on 8th October 2023.
