Vice-President Ismail Matadar of Matadar Cricket Club has praised the Midlands Cricket Association (MCA) for their unwavering commitment to youth development. Currently, the Indian cricket team is in the country to participate in a quadrangular tournament featuring select teams from Zambia and Zimbabwe. The three-day tournament promises exciting cricket action and will be held at the Metropolitan Ground in Lusaka, starting today and ending on Sunday. During a visit to the OlympAfrica Centre yesterday, Matadar expressed his admiration for the commendable programs implemented at the center. The OlympAfrica Centre plays a crucial role in nurturing young talents across various sports disciplines, including cricket, and does so without charging any fees for its training programs. Surrounded by several townships, such as Mandevu, Chaisa, Matero, Chipata, Marapodi, Chazanga, Kabanana, Garden, and Emmasdale, the OlympAfrica Centre continues to be a beacon of hope for youth development and sports excellence.
