The Ministry of Sport's tour of duty in Ndola concluded yesterday with an engagement involving various District Advisory Committee (DSAC) members on the Copperbelt. The meeting was led by the Ministry of Youth, Sport, and Arts in collaboration with the National Sports Council of Zambia. Acting National Sports Council General Secretary Raphael Mulenga emphasized the importance of involving stakeholders in sports development for improvement. Mulenga highlighted the critical role of sports administrators, federations, and District Advisory Committees in this process. He stressed the significance of sharing available information, especially considering positive changes, such as the Ministry's decentralization through the Department of Sports. Mr. Victor Kabeleka, Chairman for DSAC Ndola, stressed the necessity of establishing DSAC offices in other districts as it is crucial for smooth operations in coordinating various sports disciplines and strengthening the National Sports Council of Zambia's operations. Key topics discussed included Governance in Sports and Sports Marketing. Additionally, Coaching Framework books were distributed to the conveners.
