Zambia captain Lubambo Musonda described their opening 1-1 draw against DR Congo at the Africa Cup of Nations as "tough" but a "good result," vowing the Chipolopolo will get better as the tournament progresses. "It wasn't an easy game," Musonda admitted to FAZ media after the match. "We tried to play our tactics, but Congo was also prepared. It was a tough game, but a good result for the team." The Silkeborg IF star acknowledged the disappointment of drawing, saying the team aimed for all three points. "I wouldn't say we are satisfied," he said. "We wanted all three points, but being football how it is, we couldn't. So a point is okay with us." Looking ahead to Sunday's crucial clash against Tanzania, Musonda emphasized the need for improvement. "Tanzania is a good team, every game here is not easy," he admitted. "But we will rectify the mistakes and work harder to get the three points." Despite the bumpy start, Musonda exudes confidence in his team's potential. "We didn't play the way we are supposed to play," he conceded, "but I still believe in the team, the strength of the team, and we will definitely go through." With Tanzania also seeking their first win after losing their opener, Sunday's match promises to be a defining battle for both teams in Group F.
