Zambian international Lameck Banda made an impressive return from injury on Monday, playing a part in his side's equalizer in a 1-1 draw with Udinese in Serie A. Banda, who had been out for over a month with a thigh injury, came on as a substitute in the 67th minute and wasted no time showcasing his dribbling skills and pace. He eventually played a part in the build-up to the equalizer in the 83rd minute, with Roberto Piccoli scoring his first-ever goal for the club from a Nicola Sansone cross. The goal cancelled out Florin Thauvin's opener for Udinese from the penalty spot in the 49th minute. Banda's return is a boost for Lecce, who have now gone four games without a win. They will be hoping that the 22-year-old can help them get back to winning ways and climb up the table. Banda's skills are always a nightmare for opposing defenders, and his fitness will help Lecce have more threats in the final third. Lecce's next game is against Torino on 28th October, and Banda will be in contention to start after impressing as a substitute on Monday.
