The Zambia women's hockey team has recorded their first win at the ongoing Africa Road to Paris 2024 qualifiers after beating Namibia 3-2. The goals came from Martha Kalomo in the 8th minute, Carol Nakombe in the 36th minute, and Christine Kaluba in the 50th minute. Tisha Semedo scored for Namibia in the 37th minute, and Adore Meyer gave them a second goal 10 minutes later. This win is of great importance as it determines whether the team remains in contention or not after losing 4-0 to Kenya in their opener.
